This small owner-run property at Amphoraha Bay on Nosy Be, has eight elegantly decorated, wooden and thatch bungalows or suites, each individually named. They are located in tranquil gardens by the seaside. One, the 'Treehouse', is remarkable - a 100m2 bungalow perched 10 meters up in a tree.
Each of the suites has a sea view and is equipped with fan or air-conditioning. Bathrooms have shower and bathtub.
At the restaurant, guests can enjoy delicious Malagasy and international (especially Italian) dishes - the chef uses fresh, locally produced ingredients, selected by owner Yvonne Ross.
There is snorkelling around the reef close to the hotel and at the islet of Nosy Fanihy, also nearby. Other activities that can be arranged through reception, include horse-riding and quadbiking excursions.
We recommend a stay here of 2 - 5 nights; the property is very suitable for couples in particular.
