Enjoy time on Mahe, which at 28km long and 8km wide (154km2), is the largest of the islands in the archipelago.
Its coastline features 65 beaches, some of which are very beautiful. Day 7 Praslin
Spend your days on Praslin either relaxing on the sunny beach, or enjoying optional activities, which our specialists will be pleased to advise on and quote for you.
Praslin's attractions include the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Vallee de Mai, a tropical forest site where you can see the magnificent, endemic Coco de Mer palms, which have the largest nuts of any plant.
Among the loveliest beaches are Anse Lazio and Anse Volbert.
Day 8 Praslin
You might wish to learn about conservation of giant tortoises at Curieuse tortoise conservation site, or visit Aride bird sanctuary and/or Cousin Island Nature Reserve, where you can spot some of the world's rarest birds.
Day 9 Praslin - La Digue
This morning, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the ferry point, for the short ferry to the island of La Digue, the fourth largest island in the archipelago, with a length of 5km and a width of 3km.
You'll be met and taken to Patatran Village, for a 3-night stay with breakfast included.
Day 10 La digue
Attractions of La Digue include the Veuve Reserve, which was set aside to protect the iconic Seychelles paradise flycatcher; the much photographed beaches of Anse Source d'Argent, Grand Anse, Petite Anse and Anse Coco; the L'Union Estate plantation house and Cocos Island Marine Park.
Patatran's lovely colonial- style bungalows overlook the Anse Patates beach. The hotel has 26 rooms and makes for the perfect base from which to explore La Digue, which is mostly car-free. (People get around by bicycle).
