Experience the very best of Zimbabwe, from feeling the colossal power of one of the world’s largest waterfalls to exploring two of the country’s most celebrated wilderness areas.

You’ll begin with three nights at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, where elephants often wander down to your lodge’s waterhole. From here, you can stroll into town or hop on a shuttle bus to the mighty Victoria Falls, where the spray rises in shimmering clouds. There’s time to explore at your own pace or add in activities such as river cruises or a helicopter flight over the Falls for a different perspective.

Next, you’ll head by road to Hwange National Park, the largest park in the country, famous for its large elephant herds and exceptional game viewing. A two-night stay at The Hide allows you to immerse yourself in everyday safari life, with expert-led game drives and bush walks.

The final leg takes you to Lake Kariba, where you’ll spend three nights at Bumi Hills. Perched above the water, the lodge is a place to slow down and soak in the views while offering adventure. Game drives, birdwatching, fishing trips, hide sits, cultural visits and sunset cruises all showcase the region's rich diversity. When you’re ready to unwind, the infinity pool and spa are waiting.

Travel between these diverse locations is made easy with a combination of road transfers and light aircraft flights. Scheduled flights operate between April and October. Outside of these months, we’ll arrange charters to tailor the trip to your specific needs. Just speak with one of our Travel Specialists.

Itinerary

Depart from London Heathrow on your overnight flight to Johannesburg.
Arrive in Johannesburg and connect to Victoria Falls, reaching by lunchtime. Transfer by road to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, where you’ll spend three nights with breakfast included. From the lodge, you can watch elephants and other wildlife at the waterhole or take the complimentary shuttle into town. Explore the mighty Victoria Falls at your own pace, with optional activities such as river cruises, cultural tours or a scenic helicopter flight.
Take a three-hour road transfer to Hwange, Zimbabwe’s largest national park and home to vast elephant herds. Stay two nights at The Hide, with all meals and safari activities included. Morning and late-afternoon game drives bring you closer to lion, buffalo, zebra and more, while expert guides bring the bush to life with stories and tracking skills. There’s also the chance to set out on foot to appreciate the smaller details of the landscape.
Fly to Kariba and transfer to Bumi Hills, your base for three nights on the lake’s edge. Head out on game drives or try birdwatching and fishing with your guide. Join a cultural village tour or drift on a sunset cruise along the lake. The hide offers excellent photographic opportunities, while the infinity pool and spa provide peaceful downtime. All meals and activities are included, so your days can be active or restful, with Lake Kariba’s ever-changing horizon always in view.
Transfer to Kariba Airport for your onward connection to Johannesburg and fly overnight to London Heathrow.
