Venture through the heart of Botswana, from Moremi’s lagoon-lined floodplains to the open grasslands of the Central Kalahari and the papyrus-lined channels of the Okavango Delta, all while spotting elephants, lions and other wildlife, and staying in small, carefully run camps.
You’ll spend six nights in some of southern Africa’s most biodiverse regions, travelling by light aircraft between each base and enjoying game experiences and time outdoors with expert guiding.
Start by leaving the everyday behind and taking to the air for your first bush flight, landing deep within Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. Here, you have two nights at Okuti, a relaxed camp set among lagoons and floodplains, where your days are shaped by wildlife activity. Guided game drives and boat-based safaris reveal a landscape known for predators, elephants and birdlife.
Next, fly south to the Central Kalahari, a striking contrast to the wetlands you’ve just left. At Dinaka, spend two nights exploring the vast pans with guides who know the area intimately. Walks, drives and time at hides offer insight into desert-adapted wildlife and the scale of this lesser-visited region.
Finish by returning north to the Okavango Delta. At Kanana (or the more remote Maxa if you prefer fewer vehicles and a ‘wilder’ feel to your safari adventure), you’ll spend two nights combining water and land activities. Depending on conditions and the time of year you visit, this may include mokoro trips, boating and game drives, with a chance to look for species such as the elusive African wild dog.

Itinerary
Day 2 - 3 | Moremi Game Reserve
Day 4 - 5 | Kalahari
Day 6 - 7 | Okavango Delta
Enjoy a light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta, where you’ll be transferred to Kanana Camp for the final two nights, with all meals and game activities included. Kanana offers a comfortable base amid the Delta’s papyrus channels and seasonal islands, with guided game drives, boat trips and mokoro rides revealing species such as hippos, elephants and, occasionally, African wild dogs.
Alternatively, you may choose to stay at Maxa for a more remote wilderness experience, where sightings are fewer but encounters with elusive wildlife, including wild dogs, can be magical.
