Omali Lodge

Located beside Lagarto Beach just a few minutes from São Tomé Town and the international airport, Omali Lodge offers a relaxed and convenient base from which to explore São Tomé Island. Set amongst palm trees and tropical gardens, the lodge combines contemporary comfort with easy access to both the capital and the island’s natural highlights, including Ôbo Natural Park.

Although separated from the beach by a quiet coastal road and line of palms, the property enjoys an attractive seaside setting and a calm, laid-back atmosphere in keeping with the islands’ famous “leve leve” way of life.

The 30 air-conditioned rooms are arranged around a central swimming pool and tropical gardens. Classic Rooms are comfortable and simply styled, while the more spacious Premier Rooms and Junior Suites offer additional living space and a more refined feel. Family Rooms and a Honeymoon Suite are also available. All rooms feature en suite bathrooms, satellite television, minibar and WiFi.

The restaurant serves a varied menu inspired by local flavours and fresh island ingredients, while breakfasts are offered buffet-style. Guests can also unwind at the Leve Leve Bar — an ideal place for a sunset drink after a day exploring the island.

As part of the HBD Príncipe collection, service standards are consistently reliable and the reception team can assist with island excursions, restaurant bookings, airport transfers and practical arrangements throughout guests’ stays. Complimentary WiFi is available across the property, and luggage storage can be arranged for guests travelling onwards to Príncipe.
