Set on a tiny forested islet just off the northern coast of Príncipe, Bom Bom Island Resort is one of the most secluded retreats in São Tomé & Príncipe. Reached by a long wooden walkway over turquoise water, the resort combines barefoot island charm with understated comfort in a spectacular natural setting.

The resort’s 17 en-suite bungalows are scattered between the beachfront, tropical gardens and swimming pool, with options offering sea, garden or pool views. The bungalows are designed in a relaxed contemporary style, with air conditioning and outdoor sitting areas that blend naturally with the island surroundings.

At the heart of the resort is a large wooden deck overlooking the sea, home to the restaurant and lounge bar, where guests can enjoy freshly caught seafood, tropical flavours and a carefully selected wine list.

Bom Bom is an excellent base from which to explore Príncipe’s biodiversity and cultural heritage. Activities include rainforest hikes, birdwatching, whale-watching (seasonal), snorkelling, and visits to historic cocoa plantations. The resort is part of the HBD group, alongside sister properties Sundy Praia, Roça Sundy, Omali Lodge and now Roca Belo Monte, ensuring consistently high standards of service.

Rates include accommodation, breakfast and dinner, house drinks during meals, tea and coffee, shared airport transfers, WiFi, and the Conservation & Communities Contribution (CCC).

Also included are the island’s shared 'signature' excursions — one per day, weather permitting — offering guests the opportunity to experience many of Príncipe’s natural and cultural highlights during their stay.
