My enjoyment of nature was embedded at an early age, as I was lucky enough to have the Peak District on my doorstep and a family home in rural Spain.

I always view travel as a great adventure—discovering different cultures, wildlife, foods, and scenery from every corner of the world!

Having visited many countries on six continents in search of new experiences, endemic species, and ancient civilisations, I find myself repeatedly drawn back to two areas.

Latin America is known for its vast range of varied ecosystems. One day, you can be on a wild, rugged mountain range, immersed in the traditional cultures of the high-altitude regions. Next, you may be in a buzzing, vibrant, colourful city full of music and dancing. Or you could whisk off to a remote part of the world's largest rainforests and river systems, full of elusive yet incredible wildlife.

In an area that offers such diversity from its beautiful beaches, abundant seas, incredible waterfalls, national parks and wonders left by ancient civilisations (such as the Mayans and the Incas), it’s hard not to be impressed.

Africa is another favourite due to its fabulous wildlife and warm, hospitable people.
