This popular excursion entails visiting the scenic, community-run reserve of Anja, where you will have the chance to get to know Madagascar’s national mammal up close. Depart after breakfast at your hotel, or in the afternoon – depending on where you will be the night before, to the park. At this reserve there are two circuits, both graded as easy. The ringtails are there in abundance and as they are well habituated, photographic opportunities are excellent. You may also see a variety of reptiles including chameleons, geckoes, skinks and snakes.
