Delve into the heart of one of Africa’s most exciting wildlife destinations from your perfectly placed base in Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp, providing everything you need for your Masai Mara safari holiday in Kenya.

Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp is situated in the Mara North Conservancy, a wildlife-rich area that is home to over 450 bird species and both resident and transient populations of lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and giraffe, to name a few. Although just a two-hour drive to the Mara River Crossings (which see over a million wildebeest and zebra pass through annually), the camp’s remote position ensures you experience an intimate stay. Evenings are magical with the soundscape created by nocturnal life under the starry sky.

Accommodation & Facilities

  • Eight Safari Tents (Four Double and Four Twin).
    • An extra bed can be added for children under 16 years old.
  • Two Family/Honeymoon Suites.

The Safari Tents are large, spacious and bright. As you enter, you’ll quickly clock the classy, elegant feel of the camp – with Indian Raj Campaign furniture, mixing dark wood with intricate brass fittings, Persian rugs and hurricane lanterns. These tents are set underneath a grove of fig and elephant pepper trees, spaced out to ensure privacy. Additionally, the veranda has great views of the wildlife and savannah plains – with potential sightings including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, cheetah and leopard.

Between July–October, the zebra and wildebeest Great Migration can surround the camp.

  • Running showers (solar heated – generator back-up).
  • Sockets for charging in rooms.
  • Wi-Fi in rooms.
  • The camp is unfenced so guests are escorted after dark.
  • Laundry included.
  • The bathrooms have double wash basins.

  • Night game drives.
  • Bush walks (Two hours, minimum age – 12 years old).
