Shawandha Lodge is located on the outskirts of Puerto Viejo on the Southern Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. There are 14 cabins around the forested grounds, and the lodge is within walking distance of the beach of Playa Chiquita around 200m away. There is a swimming pool and 5 acres of secondary forest that attracts plenty of wildlife for those wanting to walk some of the trails independently. Rooms are simple and rustic in their design, with wooden floors and furnishings whilst there is also a restaurant on site for those wanting to eat at the hotel.
