Savegre River Rafting

?The adventure starts with a 1.5 hour transfer from the hotel in Manuel Antonio to the Savegre River. The road trip to the rafting site offers picturesque views of African palm plantations, picturesque hamlets, small rivers and jungle vegetation. Upon arrival, everyone will receive a safety briefing and an opportunity to practice before getting into the river. The rafts are built for 6 passengers. There will also be additional guides in kayaks to ensure everyone’s safety. Savegre River boasts class III rapids and is full of excitement. Spend approximately 2 ½ hours in the raft taming the rapids, taking occasional stops to rest and admire the nature around. At the end, the river waters become calm and easy, allowing you the chance to take a closer look at birds flying overhead and the colourful vegetation adorning the shoreline. The drive back to the base camp will be much shorter and takes about 30 minutes. There everyone can change their clothes and enjoy a delicious homemade meal.
