Deep in the heart of the Anavilhanas National Park is the luxurious Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge sat on the banks of the Rio Negro. There are 16 rustic yet luxurious suites and 4 deluxe bungalows dotted throughout the jungle, providing an oasis in the rainforest. All have air-conditioning, private bathrooms and either a balcony or terrace with a hammock. There is a wonderful swimming pool, ideal for cooling off after a hot day. The lodge offers guests daily excursions accompanied by expert naturalist guides such as bird watching, jungle trekking, spotting pink river dolphins, visiting local communities, canoeing etc. The restaurant serves delicious Amazonian inspired and international cuisine.
