Enjoy a wonderfully scenic canoe tour (an approx. 1 - 2hr canoe trip). Just sit back and enjoy the scenery. Traditional dugout canoes will be utilized on the Lake Mutanda, life jackets are provided. Lake Mutanda houses stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes. This is perfect for relaxing on your holiday to Uganda.
Situated in the shadow of the Virunga Mountains, the lake and its surrounding diverse lakeside forests, wetlands and farmland habitats boast some of Africa’s most beautiful wildlife.
You may have time to enjoy a short walk through the communities and local farms where you will notice that the pace around here is somewhat slower. Your guide will enlighten you further regarding the ethnic groups of people and aspects of rural life.
