Today you will be collected from your hotel for your full day visit to the winelands, a short but incredibly scenic drive through mountain ranges and vineyards.

Your first stop is in Stellenbosch – the University city of the winelands, here you will see Cape Dutch architecture and rich history. The streets are lined with giant oak trees and beautifully preserved historic buildings. There is a wide range of choice for wine tasting here stop at one of the estates and start your wine tasting journey.

You continue on over the Helshoogte pass to Franschhoek (the French corner) This is where the French Huguenots settled back in the 17th Century. Franschhoek is also very well known as the Gourmet Capital of South Africa. You will then have another wine tasting before sampling one of the popular restaurants for lunch (own expense)

Your last stop is going to be on the Paarl area of the wine route, whilst less known, this forms the triangle of wine farms on the wine route. You will then be taken back to your hotel.

This tour can be done on either a private of scheduled basis.
