Take to the saddle for a half day of horseback riding around the outskirts of Cuzco. You start off at Sacsayhuaman Fortress built of enormous stone blocks expertly shaped by the Incas. Situated on the top of a hill overlooking the city of Cuzco if offers magnificent views of the city. Ride to the Qenqo archaeological complex, a small but fascinating ruin built of limestone rock and enjoy the lovely countryside whilst learning a bit more about the Incan past.
The tour continues to two other important Incan religious archaeological centres - Pukapukara and Tambomachay (also known as El Bano del Inca) through which you will have an interesting guided tour.
