There are comfortable, simply furnished bungalows, round huts, a large self-contained family house and a space where people can pitch tents.

For our clients, we book en-suite bungalows.

Rooms have 24/7 electricity for lighting but do note that there are no sockets. Electrical items can be charged at reception if required. Intermittent Wi-Fi is available at the bar. Mosquito nets provided.

Meals are taken in the convivial, open-sided restaurant from where there are lovely views.

The menu is set: breakfasts are simple consisting of crepes; bread and jam and doughnuts with tea or coffee.

Lunches may include skewers of meat with rice or couscous and dinners may be stew with rice. (Please advise us of any special dietary requirements).

Management prides itself on the organic produce. (There is an orchard and kitchen garden).

On the property are the nurseries and office of the Wood En Stock association, committed to sustainable development and reforestation, and which initiated the 134U (One Tree For You) programme. The lodge refers to itself as 'one of the very first of the “Perma lodges”, this being a reference to environmentally-friendly practise including permaculture, while maintaining a good standard of hosting.
