Enjoy an authentic game viewing adventure with a stay at Offbeat Mara Camp in the premier Mara North Conservancy for your Masai Mara safari holiday in Kenya.
Offbeat Mara Camp is a refreshingly simple seasonal camp with just six tents, dining and bar areas, a comfortable lounge under canvas and nothing else but the sweeping space of the Mara. It has an exclusive lease on about 1000 acres around the camp, offering guided game walks, breakfast in the bush, night drives and daily game drives in the Mara North Conservancy as well as in the National Reserve. There are multiple Maasai guides, all with KPSGA silver qualifications. Our clients appreciate the varied game viewing, imaginative food and homely atmosphere.
Wildlife seen around the camp includes African savannah elephant, giraffe, Cape buffalo, hippo and African lion.

Craig’s Experience & Review
Our Africa East Africa Travel Specialist, Craig Kaufman, visited Offbeat Mara Camp in late 2024.
“There’s a lot to love about Offbeat Mara Camp.“It boasts one of the best Mara Conservancy locations of any Masai Mara camp and really is tucked away in a quiet corner of the Mara North Conservancy, with exceptional game viewing. This was very noticeable upon approaching the camp – and I came across large numbers of giraffe, with no other vehicle around, which was very special.“The camp is known for its fantastic guiding, good management, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and tasty food.“This simple bush camp has an intimate and cosy ambience.”
