Experience Highlights

  • Duration: 4

From July to early September, Princesse Bora offers well managed whale-watching excursions in association with MEGAPTERA. After breakfast, report to the office just next to the lodge grounds, for a briefing about the excursion. You will be given life jackets and dry bags, which come in very handy when out at sea. The excursions tend to last for a few hours, depending on how far out the whales may be. Attention is given to speed of boats when approaching the whales, as well as to minimum distances which should be maintained during whale watching, especially when it comes to observing mothers with calves.

Please note that as whales are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
