Experience Highlights

  • Duration: 12 hours

A wonderful experience exploring the splendors of Patagonia and its beautiful natural scenery. At 9am, the ferry heads to Porvenir Bay, with a breathtaking trip through the Strait of Magellan. Once in town, visitors will be taken on a “city tour” to explore the typical architecture of the olden days of Magallanes and the traditional landscape of the pampas inhabited by guanacos and sheep.

Around 130pm, the tour heads to King Penguin Park, where cattle ranches, the typical bird life of the island and history of Tierra del Fuego will be passed by. Once in the natural environment of the regal King penguin, there will be a chance to watch this unique specie’s beauty and behaviour.

The 20-minute trip back to the continent goes through the narrowest section of the Strait of Magellan. After landing, “San Gregorio”, the oldest cattle ranch in the area is visited. The return time to the city of Punta Arenas is at 930pm.
