Early morning, we will tour a local winery and later continue on to Santa Cruz to visit the Colchagua Museum. The museum exhibits one of the most important collections of pre-Hispanic art in Chile and a comprehensive display of objects used during the colonial period in Chile; as well as archaeological finds; vehicles; rail cars and evidence of recent events in Chile (such as the rescue of the 33 miners of San Jose mine in northern Chile). In the afternoon, we’ll visit Viña Santa Cruz to get a firsthand notion of wine production, which also includes a winetasting. Please note on a Monday, the museum is replaced with a visit to another vineyard. This tour is on a shared basis.
