Today visit one of Rio de Janeiro's most famous sites - Corcovado Mountain. One of the most visually stunning cities in the world, ascend up to this viewpoint for spectacular panoramic views. Aboard the Swiss cogwheel train, climb from 15m to 670m up through the thick vegetation that is Tijuca National Park. The very top is reached by climbing a flight of stairs reaching the base of the Christ the Redeemer statue. Covered in a mosaic of soapstone, it is one of Rio’s finest Art Nouveau monuments. The views with the surrounding forest spreading below and exceptional views out over Guanabara Bay are spinetingling.
