Accommodation

There are 12 strikingly designed suites, set beneath a canopy of indigenous trees and raised on stilts to blend seamlessly into the landscape. Each space – measuring nearly 2,000 square feet – features a blend of bold African art and calming tones, with thoughtful touches creating a sense of place.

Expect indoor and outdoor showers, a private viewing deck, a dressing room and a lounge area that are all designed to immerse you in the rhythms of the Delta. Whether you’re travelling as a couple or with family, the suites are well-spaced for privacy and comfort along with discreet, attentive service.

For a more unique experience at Xigera, the Baobab Treehouse offers a night of complete seclusion under a star-filled sky. The spectacular steel structure ascends almost ten metres above the floodplain, offering panoramic views of the Delta for some truly unforgettable wildlife viewing.

Wildlife & Activities

Located in the Moremi Game Reserve, Xigera is ideally placed for encountering some of Botswana’s most iconic wildlife. So, set out with expert guides on game drives at dawn or dusk, when predators are most active and the bush comes alive. Or how about a walking safari? Get a closer look at the Delta’s smaller details – from animal tracks to birdlife – all within this wonderful wilderness.

Water-based excursions include mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) and motorboat trips, ideal for spotting hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds among the reed channels. Fishing is also available on a catch-and-release basis. For a different perspective, take to the skies on a scenic 30-minute helicopter flight over the Delta’s glittering waterways and explore Habu village, situated 70km away.
