M/V Ocean Nova offers a unique fly and cruise combination allowing you to visit Antarctica in less time. She was built in 1992 and then completely rebuilt with an ice-strengthened hull ideally suited for expedition trips in Antarctica. M/V Ocean Nova has a maximum capacity of 68 passengers accommodated in outside cabins with private facilities.
On-board she features a panoramic observation lounge and presentation room, spacious dining room, bar and library. Excursions are all included and offered on small inflatable Zodiac boats ideal for wildlife viewing. Many trips include a landing on the continent with shorts walks. Daily expeditions are complemented with onboard lectures allowing for more detailed information on the flora and fauna.
M/V Ocean Nova is predominately used for the air/cruise options from Punta Arenas in Chile. Expeditions are also available from Ushuaia offering a one way crossing of the famous Drake Passage.
