Botswana is the ultimate safari destination and this honeymoon combines the majesty of the Victoria Falls with superb game-viewing.  An enchanting mix of romance and adventure, you stay at Zambia's Islands of Siankaba, a private island in the middle of the Zambezi and explore three of the great wilderness areas of Botswana - the renowned Okavango Delta, the grasslands of the Linyanti and the vast Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in the Kalahari. The small initmate lodges and the quality of the service in Botswana makes this an ideal destination for honeymooners looking for something very special.

Day 1
London - Johannesburg
Depart from the UK on overnight flight to Johannesburg.
Days 2 - 3
Livingstone - Zambia - Islands of Siankaba
On arrival early morning, connect with a mid morning flight to Livingstone.

On arrival you will be met and transferred to Islands of Siankaba for a 2 night stay on a private island in the middle of the mighty Zambezi River with all meals, local drinks and scheduled lodge activities included.

There are a lovely variety of inclusive activities to full your days, from a guided Tour of the Victoria Falls (choice of Zambian side or Zimbabwe side* passport conditions apply), visit to local curio market, sunset cruise, fishing (seasonal and strictly catch and release), mokoro trips on the Zambezi, guided nature trail walk, cultural Tour of Siankaba village by foot or mountain bike, visit to community nursery school or take picnic island lunch for two!

Days 4 - 6
Linyanti Reserve - Kwando Lebala Camp
Road transfer into Botswana, for light aircraft flight into the Kwando Reserve to stay 3 nights at Kwando Lebala Camp (or Kwando Lagoon Camp), all meals, laundry, local drinks and scheduled game drives in open 4x4 vehicles included.

An area renowned for predators including wild dog and leopard. Enjoy the sights and smells of the bush, with exciting morning and evening game drives, bush walks and boat cruises.

Your day on safari starts with an early wake up for the departure of your activity. Return to camp for a hearty brunch and have the afternoon at leisure. Meet late afternoon for high tea before your game activity, which returns early evening for dinner in camp.

Days 7 - 8
Okavango Delta - Little Kwara Camp
A light aircraft transfer takes you to Little Kwara Camp for 2 nights on a palm-dotted island in the Okavango Delta with all meals, local drinks and scheduled lodge activities included.

Track big game in open safari vehicles and by boat; punt silently through the water channels in a dug-out canoe.
Days 9 - 11
Makgadikgadi Salt Pans - Nxai Pan Camp
Transfer to Nxai Pan Camp to stay 3 nights and explore the Makgadikgadi salt pans, with all meals, laundry, local drinks and scheduled lodge activities included.

Activities on offer include game drives, day trips to the famous Baines’ Baobabs and Khama Khama Pan, star gazing and fascinating nature walks with Bushman trackers.

Day 12
Return transfer to Maun for afternoon flight to Johannesburg for return overnight flight to the UK.
