This private tour is perfect for those wishing to visit Argentina's most iconic highlights in a relatively short period of time. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Argentina's capital city, Buenos Aires, including one of the city's finest tango shows and dinner at Esquina Carlos Gardel. Visit the Iguacu Falls, a breathtaking spectacle and one of the World's Natural Wonder, where you have the opportunity to see the Falls from both the Brazilian and Argentine side. Then journey south to El Calafate and marvel at the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, located in Los Glaciers National Park.

You can easily extend your stay in Argentina with an add-on tour to Salta and the Northwest, The Lake District or travel onwards to Chile, Brazil or maybe a Galapagos cruise.

Day 1
Buenos Aires
Arrival to Buenos Aires where you will transfer to your hotel set in the heart of the bohemian Palermo Soho neighbourhood. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Day 2
Buenos Aires
Enjoy a half day city tour exploring the highlights of the vibrant Buenos Aires. The tour starts in the historic Plaza de Mayo, which is surrounded by the Government House, also known as the ‘Pink House’; the Cabildo and the cathedral. The visit continues towards San Telmo, one of the oldest districts of the city and where you will find a number of colonial houses and cobbled streets. Continue to the picturesque and colourful port neighbourhood of La Boca with its famous and well-photographed street, ‘Caminito’.

In the evening, enjoy a tango show and dinner at Esquina Carlos Gardel.Your private driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Esquina Carlos Gardel, where some of Argentina’s finest singers and dancers will perform an evocative show featuring the music, lyrics and sensual dance of the tango.
Day 3
Buenos Aires
Day at leisure. Perhaps further explore La Boca district, the shops and restaurants of Palermo and the architecture of Recoleta.
Day 4
El Calafate
Fly south to Patagonia and El Calafate. El Calafate is a perfect base from where to explore the stunning glaciers. On arrival transfer to your hotel Esplendor El Calafate, a boutique hotel situated in the centre of El Calafate.

Day 5
Perito Moreno glacier
Today enjoy a full day group tour to Perito Moreno glacier, located within The Glaciers National Park, 80 km from El Calafate. Here, the Perito Moreno Glacier, a huge river of ice 30 km long with a snout 5 km wide, descends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field to Lago Argentino. As it advances, the ice cracks and produces thunderous roars that reverberate from deep within the glacier, producing a hugely impressive show. A walk along the paths in front of its western wall allows you to admire this natural wonder from different viewpoints. If you like you may also take an optional one-hour boat trip to enjoy views of the glacier wall from lake level, allowing you to gain a better idea of the height of its peaks and towers. Return to the hotel early afternoon.
Day 6
El Calafate
Enjoy a day at leisure or an excursion to Estancia Cristina.
Day 7
El Calafate - Iguazu
Transfer to the airport for your flight north to Iguazu. On arrival you will be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel. Located just outside the town of Puerto Iguassu, La Aldea de la Selva has been built in complete harmony with the surrounding sub-tropical rainforest, creating a serene and peaceful base for exploring the Iguassu Falls.

Day 8
Iguazu Falls
Leave your hotel this morning to visit the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, situated within Iguazu National Park. From the Visitor Centre, take a 15-minute open train journey to Cataratas Station. From here walk to lookouts which offer astonishing views of the 275 separate falls that go to form Iguazu. Continue by train to Garganta Station, and walk approximately one kilometre to Devil's Throat balcony to witness one of the greatest displays of water power on earth. Return by train to the Visitor's Centre, where your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
Day 9
Today your trip end. Transfer to the airport for your onward return flight to London. Alternatively please speak to a member of our team to extend your trip.
