Africa has always held a special place in my heart – and I just can’t get enough of talking about it! My love affair started when I camped for three months through eight countries, travelling overland from Nairobi to Cape Town. Following what was one of the most magical experiences in my life, I also fell head over heels for Mauritius and its selection of palm-fringed beaches and dramatic mountains.
However, my ultimate passion is South Africa. Its variety is what I love about it most – and what draws me to return over and over! From tasting a refreshing selection of wines in the stunning vines of Stellenbosch to cycling along the gorgeous esplanade in Durban, I have so many unforgettable memories to reminisce on. Hiking in the Drakensburg mountains was simply breathtaking while spending New Year’s Eve in Cape Town will always be a highlight of my time in the ‘rainbow nation’.

- Helicopter ride over Mauritius’ natural wonders
