Ever since my first move abroad, from my home country of Canada to Mexico when I was 19 years old, I became addicted to travel and quickly fell in love with exploring the world.
I’ve spent the past 10 years living in various countries, from Australia (where I also completed my international business degree) to New Zealand, Spain, Mexico, England, Panama and the USA. In between, I have travelled extensively in South East Asia, Southern Africa, Europe, South America and parts of Central America.
I am at my happiest when I’m travelling, exploring new countries, cities, cultures and always seeking out amazing landscapes. I have worked in associated areas of the industry such as various destination hotels and resorts, tour offices and tour companies, and am now very happy to be in tailor-made travel to Latin America; by far one of my favourite regions.
Mexico will always be my home away from home; the warmth of the people, the food, the beaches and the laidback lifestyle always draws me back, as well as being where I was first introduced to the Latin American culture, Mayan history and Spanish language.
South Africa is another of my favourite destinations, as I don’t think there is anything quite like your first safari and being able to see so much amazing wildlife up close. Most recently, I spent 5 months living in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, which was one of the most beautiful beach regions I have ever been to with amazing Afro Caribbean vibes.
I have so many destinations that I love for all different reasons, and I think anyone who has caught the travel bug would tell you the same. At 43 countries and counting, my favourite travel quote is ‘I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list!’
