This good-value eight-night, semi-participatory camping safari takes in the scenic highlights of the southern Namibia including Sossusvlei, Fish River Canyon, the remote Orange River and Luderitz. Your first night in Namibia is in a guesthouse in Windhoek. Two further nights are spent in flight.
There is a camp assistant who does chores like cooking and washing-up, you are expected to erect and dismantle your own tent. Most of the time you'll stay at campsites with proper showers and toilets. You sleep in 1.6 metre high dome tents with comfortable 5cm thick mattresses. This type of trip suits those who want to see as much as possible during their holidays and are flexible and sociable.
You travel in a minibus, unless there are more than eight, in which case it is a Toyota Hino pop- top. Group size is limited to 16. Minimum age is 12. These tours work well for couples, families and solo travellers alike.
