Blantyre is one of the oldest urban centres in East, Central and Southern Africa. The city is located in the Shire Highlands, south Malawi, and is home to a number of historical buildings. You can visit St Michael and All Angels Church, an impressive structure made of brick, or the Mandala House, where you can research the country though its thousands of books.
