What more romantic way to start your honeymoon than on safari in the open plains of the Masai Mara, where you stay in an enchanting tented camp, Kicheche Bush Camp. Then head off to Mauritius for some beach time at a small boutique hotel in Mauritius, Hotel 20°Sud. Perfect!
Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi
Depart from London Heathrow on daylight flight to Nairobi.
Arriving early evening, you will be met and transfered to the House of Waine in the suburb of Karen for a 1 night stay, breakfast included.
Day 2 Masai Mara
After a good nights rest and breakfast at the hotel, you will be met and transferred to Wilson Airport for the light aircraft flight to Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Your safari guide and vehicle will be waiting at the airstrip to transfer you to Kicheche Bush Camp for a 3 night stay in an en-suite safari tent, with all meals, local drinks, unlimited game drives in the Koiyaki/Lemek area of the Mara, scheduled game walks and park fees included.
You will have some time to relax and settle into camp before setting off on an afternoon game drive. Return to camp for a refreshing hot shower, aperitif around the campfire and dinner under the stars.

Day 3 Masai Mara
Early morning start with tea or coffee, brought to your tent before your dawn game drive on the plains of the Masai Mara. You may have a picnic breakfast out on the plains, return to camp for brunch or spend the day watching the wildlife.
After an al fresco lunch at camp, enjoy a siesta in one of the hammocks slung between the trees. Afternoon tea is followed by further afternoon game-viewing and dinner in camp to compare the day's safari stories.
A visit to the Masai Mara National Reserve section of the Mara during the migration. The Mara contains a great density of resident wildlife and, during the months of July/August to October, their numbers are augmented by the spectacular Great Migration across the Mara River
Day 5 Nairobi
After a final morning game activity and breakfast, depart on the morning flight to Wilson Airport.
You will be met and transferred to the House of Waine for an overnight stay, breakfast included.
Nairobi is an interesting city with lots to occupy you this afternoon from the Elephant orphanage, giraffe sanctuary, the Karen Blixen museum or the House of Waine has a lovely pool to wile away the afternoon at after the hectic safari schedule.

Day 6 Mauritius
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for the 4 hour Air Mauritius flight.
On arrival early evening, you will be met and transferred by road to Hotel 20°Sud to stay 6 nights in a charm room, with dinner and breakfast included.
