The remote Lower Zambezi National Park makes an excellent combination with the exotic beaches of Zanzibar. The Lower Zambezi offers game drives, guided walking, boat trips, canoeing, fishing lots to keep young minds entertained. The first night on Zanzibar will be in the capital to enjoy the culture and history before heading for the long white beaches.

Itinerary

Early evening flight from London Heathrow to Nairobi
Arrive into Nairobi early morning and make onward connection to Lusaka arriving late morning. You will be met and transferred by light aircraft into the Lower Zambezi National Park, where your safari guide will meet and transfer you by road to Royal Zambezi Lodge for a 4 night stay in a classic family unit with all meals, local drinks and two schedule shared safari activities per day included.
Staying at   Royal Zambezi Lodge
The Lower Zambezi National Park is one of our firm favourites, set on the Zambezi River and offering a range of safari activities with consistently great game viewing. Keep the kids engaged and entertained by mixing up your safari activities. Set off on a classic open-vehicle game drive through the open woodland, grassy floodplains and riverine forest of the Lower Zambezi National Park. Take a sunset boat trip on the wide Zambezi River and chuckle with the grunting hippos. Night drives are an exciting adventure focusing your senses to listen more carefully as your eyes follow the spotlight seeking nocturnal creatures.
Royal Zambezi are fantastic at providing meals to suit children’s needs with early dinners and packed picnic lunches to take on adventures. Likewise activities are also tailored to cater for children – whether it be stopping off on a boat trip to play boule on a sand bar, fishing for bream and chessa or tailoring a game drive to keep children entertained. Playing 'eye spy with my little eye' takes on a new dimension when on safari.
