Kenya Airways fly’s daily via Nairobi
Ethiopia Airways fly’s daily via Addis
South African Airways fly’s 5 time a week from Johannesburg
Flight time is 13-16 hours depending on route.
Local flights:
Proflight from Zambia 3 flights a week to Lilongwe
Ulendo Airlink has 2 flights a day between Lilongwe and Likoma Island, daily flights to Mfuwe in Zambia, and 3 flights a week to the south of Malawi for easy access to Majete Game Reserve. In 2015 clients will be able to fly from the southern region direct to Likoma Island.

Yellow Fever though Malawi is not a yellow fever risk country, a vaccination is required if travelling through an airport of a country that has yellow fever. (Kenya and Ethiopia)
Visa:
British nationals do not need a visa in advance to visit Malawi for tourism. Visitors are usually granted a 30-day tourist visa free of charge on arrival.
