This is a wonderful combination of a safari in Zambia's adventurous South Luangwa National Park topped off  with the laid-back charm of Nkwichi, set beside the clear blue waters of Mozambique's Lake Niassa. This is definitely a honeymoon for those who love to do something very different. Stay at Kapani Lodge, where you get right up close to the African bush. There are two game activities each day in four-wheel drive, open safari vehicles. Transfer by light aircraft to the Mozambique side of Lake Malawi - Lake Niassa. Swim and snorkel in the clear blue waters of the lake, learn to sail, try out the sea kayaks, canoe or explore on foot. There are a whole host of activities included here and its a wondeful place to soak up nature and the sun shine.

Itinerary

Depart on overnight flight from London to Lusaka via Nairobi.
On arrival take light aircraft flight to Mfuwe, South Luangwa for a 4 night stay at Kakuli Lodge with all meals meals and two game-viewing activities per day, local drinks, laundry and return Mfuwe airport transfers. Originally the home of conservationist, Norman Carr, the lodge is in the main Mfuwe area with excellent year round game viewing. Your day starts with an early morning wake up and depart on your guided game drive in open 4x4 vehicle. Return to the lodge for brunch and some quiet time to rest and enjoy the pool or perhaps visit a local village. Meet again in the afternoon for your game drive, then return to camp for dinner and drinks around the camp fire.
