This luxury fly around safari with daily departures takes in the iconic areas of Namibia, from the red dunes of Sossusvlei, rugged landscape of the Skeleton Coast and the game rich Etosha National Park staying in small luxury camps.

Prime wilderness areas combined with passionate guiding, perfectly showcases what this dramatic country has to offer. Light aircraft flights take you to the nearest airstrip making this the quickest way to get around Namibia. There will be a luggage restriction though of 20kg total in soft bags. 

Suggested extensions would be to the lush banks of the Kunene River, Serra Cafema with an opportunity to meet the nomadic Himba people or even time in the coastal town of Swakopmund for some adventure activities. ref 564631

Itinerary

Depart from London Heathrow on overnight flight to Windhoek via Johannesburg.
On arrival, a one-hour flight will whisk you into Sossusvlei for a two night stay Kulala Desert Lodge, all meals, local drinks and scheduled activities included. Staying in Kulala Wilderness Reserve provides convenient access via private gate into towering red dunes of the Namib. Activities include a guided game drives to see the dunes of Sossusvlei, desert fauna, spectacular scenery and the incredible night sky. Desert-adapted wildlife such as ostrich, springbok and gemsbok, bat-eared fox, Cape fox, cheetah and black-backed jackal are often seen here.
Staying at   Little Kulala
Today you will have an early start to catch first light as it trickles over the bright read dunes. Sunrise is the ultimate time for the perfect photographic opportunity, optional activities include a hot balloon ride over the dunes at Sunrise with a champagne breakfast waiting at the landing site. You will also be taken to Dead Vlei where over many years, trees have become petrified in the lime stone giving another dramatic landscape to photograph.
Staying at   Little Kulala
A scenic three-hour flight gives a birds eye view over the Namib Desert to your lodge for the next three nights, the Hoanib Skeleton Coast. Spend your days on game drives, spotting the desert-adapted wildlife of elephant, desert lion, oryx and ostriches, and nature walks examining the smaller creatures and plants of the desert. During your three night stay you will be able to take a flight to the Skeleton Coast, over the rugged coastline covered with dramatic shipwrecks.
From Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp you will have the option of the game drives within the Palmwag concession, nature walks from the camp, alternatively choose to interact with the researchers, Dr Flip Stander, that are here working on desert adapted lion research.
With stays of 3 nights or more, there is also a full day excursion to the Skeleton Coast that is included. Here you see the fascinating shipwrecks and the many seals that frame the rugged, rocky coastline as well as the wildlife that surround the concession down to the Hoanib River. A scenic flight back completes this activity.
Today you will fly to Ongava via Doro Nawas for a two night stay at Ongava Lodge with all meals, local drinks and scheduled activities included. Set on a rocky outcrop with spectacular views over the vast plains beyond and a busy waterhole that is floodlit at night, this is the perfect location to explore the Etosha National Park, a haven for large concentrations of wildlife such as lion, springbok, gemsbok, wildebeest, Burchell’s and Hartmann’s zebra, waterbuck, red hartebeest, eland, the largest population of the endemic black-faced impala outside Etosha, successfully reintroduced of white and black rhino and 300 recorded bird species. A short drive takes you into the Etosha National Park for daytime game drives. On the Ongava Reserve, as well as day and night drives, there are informative nature walks (including the opportunity to track white rhino on foot) and wildlife viewing from exclusive hides on the concession.

Activities here include game drives and walks to see the big game on the Ongava Reserve as well as Rhino tracking, birding and photographic hides.

Light aircraft flight back to Windhoek for return overnight flight via Johannesburg to London Heathrow.
