A period known as the 'Green Season' often seen as the low season which brings the summer rains, is also when prices are lower making Botswana that little more affordable. This season is also when mammals are at their fattest as there is an abundance of vegetation and game to feed on, this is also a magical time when they bring their young in to the wild. Migrant bird species arrive in their thousands and the land is dotted with an abundance of flowers.

This itinerary offers a unique opportunity to visit the Okavango Delta & the Kwando Linyanti wetlands of Botswana before travelling to Victoria Falls for a two night stay.

Itinerary

Depart from the UK on overnight flight to Maun via Johannesburg
On arrival to Maun you will be met and transferred to your flight to Kwando Kwara Camp where you will stay for three nights inclusive of meals, local drinks and scheduled lodge activities. Kwando Kwara Camp is set in the heart of the Okavango Delta on permanent water, so activities may include fishing, boat cruises and mokoro trips on the water. Other activities can include game walks and game drives.
A full day for you to enjoy the setting of Kwando Kwara Camp. Set overlooking a secluded lagoon in the northern Okavango Delta, here you can enjoy contrasting experiences on the permanent water and weather permitting game walks and game drives.
Staying at   Kwando Kwara Camp
A full day for you to enjoy the inclusive activities at Kwando Kwara Camp, or just laze by the pool and spot the hundreds of birds that pass by and take a rest towering African ebony and mangosteen trees.
Staying at   Kwando Kwara Camp
Today you will transfer between Kwando Kwara Camp and Kwando Lagoon Camp. Perched on the banks of the wild Kwando River, this camp overlooks the Mudumu National Park in the Namibian Caprivi Strip. Activities at Kwando Lagoon Camp can include game walks (seasonal) game drives, fishing and evening boat cruises.
A full day to enjoy Kwando Lagoon Camp and it's spectacular setting. Elephant and hippo are often visible from the camp while the heavily forested area is home to a wide variety of mammals and birds. Large predators can be seen and the lagoon wild dog pack often den close to the camp. Each afternoon you have the opportunity to take the double decker boat that drifts along the river, from where you can enjoy the spectacular views, mammals and bird life while enjoying a sundowner.
Staying at   Kwando Lagoon Camp
Today you will transfer between Kwando Lagoon Camp to Kwando Lebala Camp as a morning game drive. Kwando Lebala is set in the vast open plains of the Linyanti Marshes which is famous for its predators and high concentrations of elephants. There are a choice of two activities at Kwando Lebala, which are game walks (seasonal) and game drives. The area is home to a wide variety of plains game including zebra, giraffe and wildebeest.
A full day at the camp, enjoy camp activities such as game drives and bird watching, or simply laze by the pool and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the remoteness of Kwando Lebala Camp.
Staying at   Kwando Lebala Camp
Today you will transfer to Kasane by Moremi Air and then a road transfer to Elephant Camp at Victoria Falls. The Elephant camp is the perfect lodge to compliment your Botswana safari. Here you will be under canvas for the next two nights.
A full day around Victoria Falls, enjoy your complimentary tour to the falls, or maybe take one of the optional activities that can be arranged for an additional fee. Other adventures include white water rafting or canoeing down the Zambezi River.
