African travel is infectious; there really is no other continent like it! Born and bred in South Africa, and having lived there for most of my life, I cannot think of a more dynamic destination. Whether it’s unspoiled beaches you’re after, big game safari, exquisite hotels, world-class dining, a family holiday with activities or a romantic getaway – a trip through southern Africa has it all!
My career in the industry started in front-of-house at a luxury lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve, then in reservations at Bush Breaks, product development for And Beyond, and product management and systems maintenance at Bushtracks Africa in Johannesburg.
In 2014, my hubby and I picked up sticks and moved to England, settling in Farnham, Surrey and I’ve been in the travel industry on-and-off ever since.
Some of my latest trips to Africa include Tanzania in 2017, visiting Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Grumeti. In 2018, I did a drive around Namibia to see Sossusvlei, Damaraland and the Skeleton Coast. And in 2019, I was lucky enough to go to Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
