Day 1 - Awaiting you today is by far and away one of the high points in world tourism: Machu Picchu. Your adventure starts on a train ride to the town of Aguas Calientes. From beautiful panoramic windows marvel at unsurpassed scenic views and take in countless photographic opportunities.
On disembarkation, board a bus that drives you to the Machu Picchu archaeological site, where you will definitely have an experience you will never forget. The tour includes every nook and cranny of this New Wonder of the World and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Descend by bus to Aguas Calientes town and overnight at your hotel.
Day 2 - Free morning to relax at the hotel or explore the town of Aguas Calientes. Alternatively book a second entrance ticket to revisit the ruins at your own leisure. Explore some of the outlying places, like the Intipunko, also called the “Doorway of the Sun” or the Inca bridge. There is the option to hike up Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain for an additional cost.
In the afternoon, board the train returning to Ollantaytambo or Poroy (Cuzco), depending on your next destination.
