Leaving from the local port in Ushuaia and heading eastwards, the boat sails through the Beagle Channel towards the birds and sea lions islands. Admire the great views as you look back towards the city with the mountains, sea and forests that surround this southermost city.
After a while you will see the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, and then you pass by the city of Puerto Williams (Chile) towards Martillo Island. There you stop to enjoy the amazing views of the Magellan penguin colony. The boat then along the channel where you may be able to see many species of seabirds like southern giant petrels, blackbrowned albatross, skuas, southern American terns, gulls and kelp gulls.
On arrival to Estancia Harberton you will disembark for a guided tour. On the way back westwards you will see the Remolino Ranch where archaeological activities are being carried out.
