A remarkable little property, this lodge is in a converted coffee processing plant from where there are lovely views over the national park.
The design is modern and colourful, especially the communal lounge area with its funky, contemporary feel .
Eight timber and brick rooms are comprised of two doubles, five twins and one family/honeymoon 'banda' (chalet). The location of each chalet is such that all of the guests can savour marvellous views, even while relaxing in bed. Each bungalow has an en-suite bathroom, a private balcony and is equipped with mosquito netting. Do note, that there is no air-conditioning.
There is a saltwater pool.
Activities include Chimpanzee tracking; game drives with a chance to see and Kazinga Channel boat cruises.
Active travellers will enjoy hikes on the Ruwenzori Mountains and those keen on learning about the resident communities can visit the Katwe Salt Lakes or go on an OMWANI coffee tour.
