Rosenhof Country Lodge is a restored 1852 Victorian homestead on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn. It is on the road to the Cango Caves and named for its fragrant garden of roses and herbs. The main building is preserves the traditional yellowwood beams and ceilings, and is furnished with antiques. There is a restaurant serving traditional, home-cooked country meals with a cordon bleu touch and an impressive wine list. This is a five-star guest house hotel, which offers the best accommodation in Oudtshoorn, and makes an excellent stop-over between Route 62 and the Garden Route.
Accommodation
The 12 comfortable bedrooms are set around a courtyard, each with its own entrance. They are furnished in elegant, traditional taste enhanced with local artwork and fine antiques. The two suites have their own lounges, pools and patios. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite television, mini-bar etc.

The main building houses a small pub and several comfortable lounges. There is a wellness centre with fully equipped gym, jacuzzi, sauna and beauty clinic. You can cool off in the swimming pool, take tea in their beautiful gardens or relax and take in the views of the Swartberg Mountains.
