A lovely and stylish, seaside boutique ecolodge on the remote, arid south-west coast to the north of Tulear.
There are only 8 rooms (standard, family, executive and deluxe bungalows). Each has panoramic views of the Mozambique channel and the sweeping, white sand beach on this stretch of coastline is lovely.
The rooms are tastefully decorated; each has an en-suite bathroom. Each has a shaded terrace. In the main building there is an open-air restaurant; open-air kitchen and relaxed lounge area.
Food is excellent and includes fresh fish and shellfish sourced from the area.
The lodge is well located (between Ifaty to the south and Ankasy to the north) for those who wish to see some of the remarkable sub-arid thorn bush that this region is known for - it is about 45 minutes drive from Mikea National Park. Visitors also have the chance to get to know about the culture and everyday life of the Veso people who inhabit the area.
It makes for the perfect place also, in which to take a relaxing break after a busy Madagascar trip.
