Formerly called Varangue de Betsileo, proprietor Frank Janssens runs a friendly property that is more reminiscent of a B&B than a hotel. The property is located in Latintsena, 8km from the Ambalavao town centre.
The 10 light and airy, en-suite rooms are of simple design and are comfortably furnished. In the pretty gardens there is a welcome swimming pool.
From the hotel there are sweeping views of the great granite domes dominate the landscape here and extend into the Andringitra mountain chain.
From the hotel you can see the Trois Freres/ Three Brothers.
The hotel makes for a very convenient overnight stop for people visiting the deservedly popular Anja Parc. (It serves to break the long road journey between Ranomafana and Isalo National Parks.
