Our accommodation of choice at Lake Langano, the recently re-branded and refurbished Hara Langano is on the eastern side of the lake and is a perfect place at which to stop after trips to Bale or Southern Ethiopia.
The 10 rooms all have en-suite bathrooms and are spaced sufficiently far apart to create a feel of privacy and seclusion.
The new managment has rehabilitated a section of the lakeshore/ beach with a view to attracting back some of the lake's resident hippos and this has worked well. Good meals are offered in the open-air dining room/restaurant.
