Marine Ecology Research Centre, which conducts work to restore coral; maintain beaches and protect particular Giant clams, is based.
The 48 Villas vary in size from fairly simple 70m2 dwellings at the beach, to opulent, 3-bedroom multilevel units (229m2) with lavish decor . The beachfront villas each has its own plunge pool.
The property offers a spa, gymnaseum and clubhouse. Free Wi-Fi throughout. There is a sparkling, 25 metre long infinity pool and in the property, also a jungle canopy walk.
The property has two restaurants: at the open-sided Koi Restaurant, diners can savour Malay, Chinese, Western and fusion cuisine including plenty of fresh seafood. Pantai Grill offers barbequed snacks and seafood platters.
Things to do:
Apart from relaxing at the beach and enjoying swimming in the clear and warm waters, guests can walk around in the rainforest in search of resident wildlife. Scuba diving (PADI) is available. Kayaking is offered. Many guests enjoy the Solace Spa.
