Guyana is an emerging gem in the nature and adventure tourism market. It’s lush interior, criss-crossed by rivers, waterfalls, virgin rainforest and savannahs teem with tropical wildlife and rivals the best nature and adventure destinations anywhere else in the world.
Guyana is a truly fascinating destination but due to the remoteness of some areas, the infrastructure can be challenging - heavy rains can affect the conditions of roads for example. Accommodation in the interior is improving, but visitors should not expect a luxury experience. However the richness and beauty of this pristine wilderness should more than compensate for any other discomforts!
Email or ring us if you'd like to find out more about travelling in Guyana. Our Guyana Nature Experience small group tour takes you to all of Guayana's highlights, and costs are kept down by travelling with a group. We can do a similar tour on a private basis, but this is a fairly expensive option.
