The exotic island of Zanzibar is located just 35kms offshore from Dar e Salam, so it makes this beautiful island a natural choice for those looking to unwind and relax after a safari. The island is a combination of distinctive culture, pristine beaches and dense forests where endangered red colobus monkeys live.

The Residence Zanzibar is one of the finest hotels on the island, offering personal butler service, luxurious rooms and a delightful choice of dining. The hotel offers a range of facilities to keep to entertained in resort or there are a number of optional excursions for you to enjoy. A cultural tour of Stone Town, a sunset Dhow cruise of a visit to Jozani Forest to see the endangered colobus monkeys.

Itinerary

You will be met on arrival at Zanzibar Airport and be transferred to The Residence Zanzibar where you will stay for 7 nights.
Spend you day lazing in the shade of swaying coconut palms or step in to the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. Wander through the 80 acres of lush gardens and forest and indulge in the delectable dishes served at the hotels restaurants.
After a leisurely breakfast take an optional tour Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and vibrant Swahili settlement. Here you will find a fusion of architecture from Africa and Arabia.
Today maybe have a day of indulgence and spend time at the hotel's spa, featuring six pavilions and a relaxation area set in five acres of tropical gardens. Relax by the spa pool and enjoy time in the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi
There are a vast range of different water based activities for you to enjoy in Zanzibar. Take an optional dolphin watching cruise or catch the breeze and try the exhilarating sport of kite surfing. The Residence Zanzibar also offers Hobie Cats, kayaks and pedal boats to explore the azure waters. A sunset Dhow Cruise is always a memorable and romantic affair in Zanzibar
A day of leisure or take a tour to Jozani Faorest - Chwaka Bay Park. An incredible mature forest, the largest found on in Zanzibar, this area is rich in diverse habitats and home to the endangered red colobus monkey. Walk through the forest along the mangrove boardwalk or take a tour where your specialist guide will show you some of the 100 species of butterfly found in the park and beautiful tropical flowers.
Your last full day in Zanzibar. A day for you to relax and enjoy the luxurious surroundings of The Residence Zanzibar or take a tour back to Stone Town to purchase those last minute souvenirs and gifts.
Today you will check out of The Residence Zanzibar and be transferred to Zanzibar for your flight
