Itinerary

On this trip you will visit:
  • Baja California
Day 1
Loreto
Arrive at Loreto airport and transfer to the Posada de las Flores Loreto.

Loreto is considered the oldest human settlement on the Peninsula of Baja California. In 1697, the Jesuit priest/explorer - Juan Maria de Salvatierra founded Loreto with its sweet water oasis and arid climate. It was here that he built the first mission of Baja - Our Lady of Loreto. It was from this mission that Christianity was peacefully introduced to the Californians. Loreto was the capital of the California for more than 133 years until the capital was moved to La Paz. Loreto remains rich in history and full of undiscovered natural wonders.
Day 2
Loreto
Enjoy breakfast at Posada de las Flores and then an excursion to Isla Coronado, considered by many as the prettiest island in the Baja peninsula. Here you can admire the colonies of sea lions, dolphins and pelicans. This is also an ideal site for snorkelling, swimming, or simply relaxing and sunbathing on the beach. A packaged lunch is provided and you can enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Day 3
Loreto - Punta Chivato
Enjoy breakfast at Posada de las Flores Loreto and then go to the lovely Bahia Concepción with awesome landscapes and a multitude of beaches with soft, white sand: Santispac, Concepción, Los Cocos, El Burro, El Coyote, Buenaventura, El Requesón and Armenta.

Continue to the tropical oasis town of Mulegé, one of the prettiest towns in Baja California Sur, where you will enjoy a short city tour including a visit to the mission. The village is situated between two hills, in a valley provided with life by a stream that runs until it joins the estuary which flows to the sea; edged by huge palm trees, orchards and fences where bougainvillea of all colors tangle. This privileged place was discovered by the Jesuit father Juan María de Salvatierra. The origin of the name Mulegé drifts from the Cochimíes voices "Carmaañc galexá", that means "Large Ravine of the White Mouth".

Later, check in at Posada de las Flores Punta Chivato and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 4
Punta Chivato
Enjoy breakfast at Posada de las Flores Punta Chivato, a day at leisure and a light lunch and dinner at the hotel. You may enjoy fishing, whale watching, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, snorkelling, kayakking and playing tennis on your free day.
Day 5
Punta Chivato
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Loreto airport.
