A 6 night camping trip, is a taste of safari with 3 nights in Amboseli National Park in a private concession with Kilimanjaro as the back drop then onto the open plains of the Masai Mara for 3 nights. Enjoy camping in exclusive wildlife conservancies, heading out with excellent guides in open 4x4 safari vehicles.

Day 1

Depart on direct overnight flight to Nairobi.

Day 2

Amboseli

On arrival you will be met and transferred by road (4 hours) to Amboseli for 3 nights camping in the Selenkay Conservancy with all meals included. You will arrive in time for lunch and then head out in the afternoon for your first game drive. All of the big cats, elephants and many plains game are to be found in this park. In addition less common animals such as the long-necked gerenuk gazelle, lesser kudu and African wildcat.

Day 3

Early breakfast and game drive on the Selenkay Conservancy before returning to camp for an escorted nature walk with Maasai guides. After lunch, afternoon visit of a Maasai Village before your evening drive and returning to camp for dinner.

Day 4

Morning drive with picnic lunch into the Amboseli National Park, returning to camp late afternoon.

Day 5

Masai Mara

Depart for Nairobi after breakfast in time for afternoon light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. Arriving late afternoon you will be transferred to the Ol Kinyei Conservancy to settle in, before heading out on an evening game drive.

Day 6

Rise at dawn for game drive in the conservancy and a late breakfast, followed by an escorted nature walk. Lunch in camp and afternoon game drive returning early evening with spotlight looking out for nocturnal species.

Day 7

Today, will be a full day game drive in the central Mara Reserve with a picnic lunch, only return late afternoon for dinner.

Day 8

Final early morning game drive in the conservancy, before the 4 hour drive back to Nairobi for your return flight back to London.

Prices are per person sharing and are subject to availability. Prices include international flights, transfer by minibus Nairobi- Selenkay-Nairobi and Mara to Nairobi, light aircraft flight Mara to Nairobi, camping throughout with all meals, all game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, conservancy and park fees

Exclude visa, travel insurance, all drinks on safari (other than mineral water - drinks can be bought en route to the camp), any tips or gratuities and any items of a personal nature.

Accommodation is in small 2-man dome tents with high density mattresses provided. All meals are prepared by the camp cook on the open fire. Mineral water is provided in camp and on game drives and you will be given the opportunity to purchase your own drinks en-route to camp.
