A great and more affordable way of visiting the Galapagos islands. This tour spend four nights in local hotel accommodation on the islands of Santa Cruz, Floreana and Isabela.

Itinerary

Day 1
Santa Cruz
Today you will arrive at Baltra Airport and transfer to the town of Puerto Ayora on the island of Santa Cruz. You will be met by your naturalist and tour guide and enjoy lunch at Aventura Lodge. In the afternoon you will visit Garrapatero Beach, a beautiful white sand beach famous for its flamingos and Darwin's Finches. You may also see marine iguanas, Galapagos penguins, oystercatchers and mockingbirds. Dinner and overnight at Avnetura Lodge.
Day 2
Santa Cruz - Floreana
After breakfast you will head to the highlands of Santa Cruz and visit Los Gamelos 'The Twins', two collapsed lava chambers. The twins are surrounded with endemic flora and fauna including a remnant of a Scalesia Forest. You will then continue to a 600 acre private reserve where you will be able to experience an up close encounter with the famous Galapagos Giant Tortoises. Here they roam freely in the wild and this is often one of the most treasured moments of the trip. before lunch you will also visit an illuminated lava tunnel where stalagmites and stalagtites have formed. You will return to Aventura Lodge for lunch before sailing to Floreana Island, about a 2 hour journey. Before you check in to your accommodation you ahve the opportunity to swim and snorkel at the beautiful La Loberia, where you may be lucky enough to witness sea lions frolicking on the beach. Dinner at a local family hosue and overnight at Floreana Lodge.
Day 3
Floreana - Isabela
Enjoy breakfast at a local family home before heading off in an open air bus (chiva) to Floreana's highlands. The island has many historic sights and stories to go along with them. While on Floreana you will find the endemic Scalesia forest as well as a good number of Galapagos petrels, once at the border of extinction due to the population of cats on the island. in the afternoon you will sail to Isabela and check in at Red Mangrove Isabela Lodge for a wholesome lunch. In the afternoon you will take a small boat to Las Tintoreras where you will view Blue Footed Boobies and Galapagos Penguins. Take a walk through jagged lava fields and marvel at the cloud capped volcanoes of Isla Isabela. Dinner and overnight at Isabela Lodge.
Day 4
Isabela - Santa Cruz
Take breakfast at the lodge and then head for the wetlands, pass Vilamil, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Galapagos and then take the trail to the summit of Cerro Orchilla for astounding views from the top. Visit 'Muro de las Lagrimas' Wall of Tears, a unique construction built by prisoners of a penal colony centuries before. In the afternoon sail back to Santa Cruz and check in to the Avnetura Lodge before enjoying a guided tour of Charles Darwin Research Centre and home to the famous Lonesome George Giant Tortoise. Dinner and overnight at Aventura Lodge.
Day 5
Transfer from Aventura Lodge to Baltra Airport
