You will be met on arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica's capital, and transferred to your hotel, the Gran de Oro to relax after the long flight, before heading up country

Day at leisure to enjoy the surroundings, spend time relaxing in the hot springs or to do any of the optional tours in the area. Recommended tours: Hike to Arenal National Park, Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, Arenal Hanging Bridges, Peñas Blancas river safari float, Toro River rafting, Sky Tram, trek, and Walk, among others. Lake crossing transfer to Monteverde. This service, half tour half transfer is a scenic and fastest way to go from Arenal to the Monteverde area. Arenal Lake is the largest and the most important lake in Costa Rica, it was man made in 1974 to provide hydroelectric energy for the country. Your hotel is located only 20 minutes away from Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve in the middle of the serenity of the forest, where the visitors may enjoy countless eco-toursimus treasures. On the 35-acre property, you will find lush forests and verdant pastures that are excellent for birds and hiking. In this tranquil setting, your may see parrots and emerald toucans that come to feed in the fruiting trees, occasionally.
